DAY 1.
TBILISI
Arrival in Tbilisi, transfer to the hotel. Free time.
DAY 2.
TBILISI
Tbilisi city tour around main attractions of the city: Old Tbilisi, the maidan and sulfur baths, the Holy Trinity Cathedral, Narikala fortress, Metekhi plateau, the Synagogue, the Mosque, the glass bridge of the world, the city fortress, Rustaveli Avenue, Freedom Square, Sharden pedestrian street, modern part of the city
DAY 3.
TBILISI - MTSKHETA - GORI - BORJOMI
Excursion to the ancient capital of Georgia - Mtskheta. The city was founded in the 1st millennium BC and was the capital for eight centuries before the fifth century BC. Mtskheta is a World Heritage Site and is under the protection of UNESCO. Visiting Svetitskhoveli Cathedral where the greatest relic of the Georgian Church is contained – the Chiton of the Lord. A visit to the monastery of Jvari. Moving to Gori is one of the important cities on the Silk Road. Inspection of the Stalin Museum. Visiting the city carved into the rock – Uplistsikhe. Moving to Borjomi, hotel accommodation.
DAY 4.
BORJOMI - VARDZIA - KUTAISI
Visiting the cave city of Vardzia. Transfer to Kutaisi.
DAY 5.
KUTAISI - SATAPLIA - TBILISI
Kutaisi is the city where the Argonauts found the Golden Fleece. Inspection of the historical part of the city, Gelati Academy. Visit Sataplia Nature Reserve, on the territory of which there is a karst cave and where archaeologists have found a footprint of a dinosaur. Transfer to Tbilisi.
DAY 6.
TBILISI - KAKHETI
Excursion to the eastern part of Georgia, to the Kakheti region, with a visit to the rock complex David Gareji, Bodbe Monastery and the city of Sighnaghi. Wine tasting in the home wine cellar, which offers 4 types of wine, pita bread and cheese. Accommodation in a hotel in Sighnaghi or Kvareli.
DAY 7
KAKHETI - TBILISI
Transfer to Tsinandali - visit to the Chavchavadze estate. On the estate there is the first winery in Georgia, the house-museum of the princes, and the enoteca which stores 16 thousand bottles of wine from the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Visit to the Alaverdi Cathedral (XI century), Ikalto Academy, the house of the Museum of King Erekle II. Transfer to Tbilisi.
DAY 8.
TBILISI
Transfer to the airport in accordance with the flight schedule.
