DAY 1.
TBILISI
Arrival in Tbilisi, transfer, hotel accommodation.
DAY 2.
TBILISI
Tbilisi city tour with a tour of the main attractions of the city: Old Tbilisi, the maidan and sulfur baths, the Holy Trinity Cathedral, Narikala fortress, Metekhi plateau, the Synagogue, the Mosque, the glass bridge of the world, the city fortress, Rustaveli Avenue, Freedom Square, Sharden pedestrian street, modern part of the city. Dinner in a Georgian restaurant with delicious Georgian cuisine and a show program.
DAY 3.
TBILISI - MTSKHETA - GORI - BORJOMI / AHALTSIKHE
Excursion to the ancient capital of Georgia - Mtskheta. The city was founded in the 1st millennium BC and was the capital for eight centuries before the fifth century BC. Mtskheta is a World Heritage Site and is under the protection of UNESCO. A visit to the Svetitskhoveli Cathedral, which houses the greatest shrine of the Georgian Church - the Lord's Chiton. Visit to the monastery of Jvari. Moving to Gori, visiting Stalin Museum and the city named Uplistsikhe carved into the rock, 1st millennium BC. Transfer to Borjomi, a walk into the park, hotel accommodation.
DAY 4.
BORJOMI - KUTAISI
Excursion to the cave monastery complex Vardzia (for a fee). The ensemble of the Vardzia monastery was created mainly in the 12th-13th centuries, during the reign of George III and his daughter Tsarina Tamara. At that time, all the premises of the monastery were hidden by a rock, only three underground passages connected to their surface, through which large detachments of soldiers could appear completely unexpectedly for the enemy. The Vardzia cave complex consists of 13 floors, carved up to 600 rooms: churches, chapels, residential cells, pantries, bathhouses, refectories, treasuries, libraries. Departure to the city of Kutaisi - the city where the Argonauts found the "Golden Fleece".
DAY 5.
KUTAISI - BATUMI
Inspection of the historical part of the city, Gelati Academy. Visit Sataplia Nature Reserve, on the territory of which there is a karst cave and where archaeologists have found a footprint of a dinosaur. Transfer to Batumi.
DAY 6.
BATUMI
Walking tour of the city, visiting the most beautiful places of Batumi: the old part of the city, the boulevard, the new square, port, dolphinarium, botanical garden (Mtsvane Kontskhi), Gonio fortress. You will have the opportunity to try the invigorating black coffee made in the sand.
DAY 7.
BATUMI
Free day.
